'Miss A's adoptive parents are guilty of murder!','Please prosecute the prosecutor for murder','How should I kill him?'

In front of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor's Office on the 14th, about 50 Geunjo wreaths lined up in memory of a child who died in connection with the '16-month infant abuse death case'.

These are wreaths sent by parents from all over the country who participated in the Korea Child Abuse Prevention Association's'Prosecutor's Support Wreath Delivery' event.

On the wreath, a sentence was written asking for the indictment of A's adoptive parents for murder.

There were also messages of condolence and sorry to Ms. A, such as'I'm sorry I know you're late, I love you'.

The Korea Child Abuse Prevention Association submitted a petition and signature guidance to the Southern District Prosecutor's Office for a'homicide prosecution' against the mother-in-law of the adopted mother of a deceased child.

The association argued that "the child died after 8 months of continuous abuse," and "it must be punished with murder, not child abuse, as it is clear that there was an intention to kill."

The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office of Women and Child Crime Investigation Department (Director Jeong-Woo Lee) has detained Mr. Jang adopted for violating the Special Act on Penalties for Child Abuse Crimes (child abuse lethal).

Jang is accused of habitually assaulting and abusing his adopted daughter A from June to October, and inflicting a strong shock on his back on October 13, leading to death.

The death of Miss A was found to have damaged organs such as the small intestine, large intestine, and pancreas, and died from abdominal damage.

Even though she knew of Jang's abuse, her husband, who did not take any action, was also prosecuted for violations of the Child Welfare Act (child abandonment or neglect).
