A bug in the latest version of Windows 10 slows down PCs -

That's it, Patch Tuesday is here.
Microsoft has just released its patch for the month of December.
And if the latter corrects "only" 58 security flaws - Microsoft has accustomed us to a lot more -, it fills 22 important security breaches for Windows 10. Proof that the number is not everything.
These 22 flaws are particularly worrying since they are classified as remote code execution vulnerabilities (RCE): in short, their exploitation can be done remotely.
So hackers don't have to have your computer to corrupt it.
Moreover, they do not require any action from the user, via the Internet or their local network, which represents a concrete risk of relatively easy exploitation for connoisseurs.
Avalanche of faults
Microsoft obviously advises to proceed quickly to the update of its system, in order to fill the critical vulnerabilities.
Especially since some RCE vulnerabilities concern services that are regularly connected to the Internet (Exchange and SharePoint), once again making their operation easier.
And if Microsoft does not mention any active exploitation of the flaws corrected by Patch Tuesday, the publication of the latter could put hackers on the track.
Finally, the time has come to take stock.
Over the past 12 months, Microsoft's Tuesday Patches have fixed no less than 1,245 security vulnerabilities compared to 840 in 2019, an increase of 48%.
