Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol's disciplinary committee ended at around 8 o'clock last night.

It started at around 10:40 a.m. yesterday and lasted for nearly 10 hours, but it wasn't possible to decide whether to punish President Yun and decided to reopen the disciplinary committee next Tuesday, the 15th.

[Jeong Han-jung/Representative of the disciplinary committee chairman: In difficult times, the people should not hold back for a long time, so we will pursue a prompt hearing again.]

Both sides have been fighting for the disciplinary committee procedure from the beginning of the disciplinary committee.

Yoon's side claimed to postpone the disciplinary committee's deadline, claiming that he had not received the list of disciplinary committee members in advance.

Afterwards, the Ministry of Justice and President Yoon's opinions on the deliberation on the main disciplinary bill of President Yun were stated, and the disciplinary committee adopted witnesses to be examined.

The disciplinary committee adopted seven witnesses previously applied by President Yoon, and adopted as witnesses Shim Jae-cheol, the Prosecutor General of the Ministry of Justice, who evaded his position as a disciplinary committee, and Prosecutor Lee Jung-hwa, who pointed out problems with the disciplinary procedures and contents.

At the disciplinary committee meeting, which will be held again next week, the witnesses adopted yesterday will be interrogated and a final decision on the punishment of President Yoon will proceed.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Justice stated that it is an abuse of the right to challenge the disciplinary committee if the request for challenge itself is intended to delay the disciplinary process.
