The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul has applied for an arrest warrant for hip-hop singer Iron on charges of assaulting a male minor's roommate with a baseball bat.
According to police, Iron is accused of hitting 18-year-old A with a baseball bat dozens of times at his home in Yongsan-gu on the evening of the 9th.
Iron is a hip-hop singer who took second place in Mnet's'Show Me the Money Season 3', and Mr. A is known to have learned music while living with Iron.
The police dispatched to the scene at the report of Mr. A's family and arrested Iron as the current offender.
Iron was accused of assaulting his girlfriend for refusing to comply with her request during sexual intercourse, and was sentenced to eight months in prison at an appeal in November 2018, two years probation, and 80 hours of social service.
