RIA Novosti reported about it with reference to Nature.

Scientists have found that a number of mutations in the coronavirus affected a protein segment called the receptor binding domain (RBD) that SARS-CoV-2 uses to enter cells.

One of these mutations masked the virus from all antibodies.

At the same time, some mutations were selectively avoided by one of the three antibodies.

According to scientists, a coronavirus mutation capable of resisting all antibodies has been identified in Denmark and the Netherlands.

Earlier, the director of the Vector Research Center Rinat Maksyutov said that the changes recorded in the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 do not exceed 0.1%.
