Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol ordered a thorough investigation of human rights violations, such as coercion, in the course of the investigation in relation to the case of the lawsuit by Lee Nak-yeon and Democratic Party representative aide today (4th).

It is reported that Yoon ordered the human rights inspector of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office today to "investigate and report on human rights violations such as violations of the investigation rules for human rights protection in the course of the investigation".

Mr. Lee's close friend, Mr. Lee, disappeared during the prosecution's investigation into the case of the Optimus Asset Management Fund fraud, and was found dead in a building near the Seoul Central District Court at around 9:15 pm yesterday.

He was investigated by the prosecutor's office on the afternoon of the 2nd, in the presence of a lawyer, and was scheduled to resume the investigation after dinner, but it was reported that the contact was lost.

Mr. Lee was accused of violating the Political Fund Act by the Seoul Election Commission when the case that TrustAll, an Optimus-related company, paid 760,000 won for the use of a multifunction device at the Jongno-gu office of CEO Lee in February and May.

Yoon's fact-finding order appears to have come from the intention to block criticism from politicians that the prosecution is pressing the passports through the investigation of the Optimus case.
