The Coast Guard arrested a vessel invading our territorial waters in the sea near Gageo Island with a naval patrol machine.

According to the West Sea Regional Maritime Police Agency, the coast guard arrested a small motorboat A (three crew members) that invaded the territorial waters 28km northwest of Gageodo Island, Heuksan-myeon, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do at around 10:55 am today (4th).

The coast guard received a report from fishing boat B, which was operating on the sea at 8:23 am, saying, "The shape of the hull and the crew's life jacket is suspicious."

The Coast Guard dispatched patrol ships and aircraft, and continued to share information with the Navy to jointly arrest A.

The sailors on the boat were all Chinese and suspected attempts to smuggle into the country, the coast guard explained.

After transporting the ship to Mokpo Port, the Coast Guard plans to investigate the crew in a separate investigation room at the Mokpo Coast Guard dedicated pier to prevent Corona 19.
