Lexus recently unveiled the commercial production version of its UX300e, which belongs to the compact crossover category, and is considered the first car that relies on pure electric propulsion in the history of the Toyota group.

The Japanese company explained that its new car depends on the cranks of an electric motor, installed on the front axle of the wheels, and produces 240 horsepower, provided that the engine is supplied with the necessary electrical current through a lithium-ion battery, with a capacity of 54.3 kilowatt hours, which guarantees a range of travel To 400 km, before being recharged.

The wattage range ensures the car is able to launch from a standstill and reach a speed of 100 km / h in 7.5 seconds, with a top speed standing at 160 km / h.

And the smart design of the electric battery installed under the floor of the car contributed to not affecting the spaciousness of the interior and luggage space, with a rear trunk capable of holding 367 liters, which could be increased if the rear seat row was folded.

The innovative design of the battery compartment also helped give the car a low center of gravity, which works simultaneously with an improved suspension system, which includes (absorbers) shocks and "dampers" with high efficiency to enhance the characteristics of dynamism and handling.
