A man in his 60s was sent to the prosecution on charges of setting fire to a motel building in Mapo-gu and inflicting 11 casualties.



The Seoul Mapo Police Department said today (4th) that the 69-year-old grandmother was handed over to the prosecution on charges of arson and lethality on the building.



Cho is accused of setting fire to a motel building in Gongdeok-dong at the dawn of the 25th of last month, killing two guests and injuring nine people.



Cho, who is known as a long-term guest, was found to have fired paper with a lighter when he asked for alcohol from a motel employee and was refused.



Jo, who took refuge outside the building immediately after the crime, was arrested by the police after confessing that he set fire while being transferred to the hospital by paramedics.
