The government and the Seoul Metropolitan Government have decided to completely limit the operation of Class 5 vehicles in the entire metropolitan area from December to March next year.
Regardless of vehicles registered in any region of the country, if a class 5 vehicle that has not been subjected to low pollution measures is detected while driving in the metropolitan area, a penalty of 100,000 won per day will be imposed.
This measure was due to the high concentration of fine dust in winter, and exhaust gas from old automobiles was pointed out. As of September this year, about 1.46 million vehicles were found nationwide.
