Minister Choo Mi-ae took its position today (27th) as backlash from front-line prosecutors as well as senior executives in the prosecutors' office over this incident.

Despite understanding the prosecutors' heart, he refused to ask for the withdrawal of the disciplinary claim against General Yoon, saying that the disciplinary process would proceed as scheduled.

Attorney General Choo Mi-ae said, "I fully understand the prosecutors' stance," he said in a statement released today.

However, the rest of the content was focused on emphasizing the legitimacy of the disciplinary process.

On the alleged document of the judge's inspection, he stigmatized the ideological stigma with only certain judgments, insulting personality and evaluating that it contained private personal information.

At the same time, he said he would proceed with disciplinary proceedings in accordance with laws and procedures as the president's misconduct was serious.

They rejected the demands of front-line prosecutors to reconsider the disciplinary claim.

As Minister Chu repeatedly announced his stance to enforce disciplinary action, controversy over the investigation of suspicious documents by the judge's inspection also arose.

On the evening of the 24th, the first suspicion of a judge's inspection was raised when Minister Chu excluded the president from his duties.

Within the prosecution, it is argued that the Supreme Prosecutors' Office would have been aware of the relevant information before the announcement of Minister Chu, considering the time it normally takes to issue a seizure and search warrant.

The Attorney General has pointed out that it is illegal if Minister Chu intervenes in an investigation request as it is impossible to direct a specific case.

In addition, controversy over the investigation continues, as it is reported that there was no approval by the deputy prosecutor's office, Nam-gwan Cho, who was in charge of acting as the president's authority during the seizure search.
