This was announced by Vladimir Solovyov, Flight Director of the ISS Russian Segment, First Deputy General Designer for Flight Operation, Testing of Rocket and Space Complexes and Systems of RSC Energia.
"There is no talk of any termination of the ISS after 2025, just as there is no talk of the termination of partnerships," TASS quotes him.
He noted that a decision on the station can only be made at the government level “after a detailed study of the decisions that will be proposed to Roscosmos by the industry enterprises responsible for the flight of the station, primarily RSC Energia, as well as [after] discussion with program partners ISS ".
Earlier, the press service of Roscosmos reported that the state corporation is awaiting proposals from the Rocket and Space Corporation (RSC) Energia for a national orbital station.
