The Disciplinary Review Committee for Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol will be held on the 2nd of the following month.

Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae decided to hold a disciplinary review committee for President Yoon on the 2nd of the following month in accordance with the Prosecutor's Disciplinary Act on the 26th, and ordered President Yoon or his lawyer to notify him of his attendance.

On the 24th, the disciplinary deliberation committee was opened with an expedited decision eight days after the request for disciplinary action against President Yun and the order to suspend his duties was issued.

The disciplinary committee consists of seven members, including the Minister of Justice, the chairman.

Excluding Minister Chu, the remaining six members are the Deputy Minister of Justice, two prosecutors appointed by the Minister of Justice, and one attorney, professor of law, and one person with knowledge and expertise commissioned by the Minister of Justice.

However, because Minister Chu is a disciplinary claimant, he cannot be involved in the case deliberation.

In addition, during the resolution process, President Yoon may request a disciplinary claim against Minister Chu.

The disciplinary committee deliberates on the case and decides on disciplinary action with a majority vote of the members.

Discipline is divided into dismissal and dismissal, honesty, reduction of salary, and reprimand. If the disciplinary committee decides more than the reduction of salary, it is enforced by the President at the request of the Minister of Justice.

Inside and outside the legal world, it is observed that the disciplinary committee will decide to dismiss Yun at the will of Minister Chu, and that Minister Chu will propose this to the President.
