The prosecution handed over the mother-in-law Choi Mo (74) of Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, who is suspected of illegal supply and demand in a nursing hospital, in a state of disability.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office, Criminal Section 6 (Director Prosecutor Park Soon-bae), charged Choi for violating the medical law and for fraud under the Specific Economic Crimes Aggregated Penalty Act.

The prosecution established a medical foundation in November 2012, even though Mr. Choi was not eligible to open a medical institution, and was involved in the opening and operation of a nursing hospital in Paju, Gyeonggi-do in February of the following year. It is believed that the amount of medical care benefits worth 10,000 won was intercepted.

In this case, three co-workers Choi were convicted of violating medical law and fraud, but Choi, who was co-chairman, resigned from the post of chairman in May 2014 and received a ``Liability Exemption Memorandum'' stating that he did not ask for responsibility for the operation of the hospital. It was not filed for reasons.

However, in April, the Open Democratic Party's representative Choi Kang-wook raised suspicion that ``the prosecution was involved in the prosecution's non-prosecution at the time,'' and accused him and others.

Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae also ordered the reinforcement of the investigation team by excluding General Yoon from the investigation and command of the case by invoking the investigation command authority last month.

It is known that the prosecution, who has initiated a re-investigation, recently obtained a statement from Choi's partner, Mr. Koo, stating that the'Liability Exemption Memorandum' was forged.
