Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae ruled out the duties of Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol on the 24th.

It is the first time in constitutional history that the Minister of Justice has excluded the office of the incumbent president.

It is interpreted that Minister Chu, who has pressured General Yoon with several orders of inspection, has finally pulled out a job exclusion card.

During a briefing in person at the press room of the Seoul High Prosecutor's Office this evening, Minister Chu said, "We are compelled to report to the public about the disciplinary claim against the Prosecutor General and the exclusion of duties."

"So far, the Ministry of Justice has conducted direct inspections on various charges of misconduct by the Attorney General, and as a result, it has confirmed serious and serious charges of misconduct."

Minister Chu said that Yoon had improperly met with the media outlet, illegally inspected the judiciary in major cases, including the case of former Minister Cho Kook, and interfered with the prosecution in order to protect his aide in the case of former Prime Minister Han Myung-sook.

In addition, he said that President Yoon had interfered with the prosecution because he did not respond to a face-to-face investigation by the prosecutor's office at the Ministry of Justice.

"As the Minister of Justice, the chief supervisor of the prosecution's affairs, the Prosecutor General has decided that it is no longer acceptable to perform his duties as president," said Secretary Chu.
