Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong attended the trial on the 23rd to destroy the bribery case of Gukjeong Nongdan.

On this day, the Seoul High Court will hold the sixth trial date for Lee's alleged bribery and investigate evidence related to the sentence.

Vice-Chairman Lee, who reappeared in two weeks after the 9th, did not answer questions from reporters such as "How do you evaluate the activities of the Samsung Compliance Committee?"

Vice-Chairman Lee has been accused of providing large bribes, including 29.8 billion won, to former President Park Geun-hye and Choi Seo-won for the request for ``Samsung Management Succession''.

The first trial convicted part of bribery and sentenced him to five years in prison, but in the second trial, the number of convictions decreased, and sentenced to two years and six months in prison and four years of probation.

Later, in August of last year, the Supreme Court returned the case to the High Court, saying that some of the sums that the second court saw as innocent should also be considered guilty.

At today's (23rd) trial, attention is paid to whether some of the opinions of expert judges will come out along with the interim evaluation of the Samsung Compliance Committee regarding the sentencing.
