[SBS Special] Need a detective?

The story of a real detective we didn't know was revealed.

In the SBS Special, which aired on the 15th, the subtitle of'Do you need a detective' was followed by the existence of a detective gradually coming out of the sun.

On this day's broadcast, the detectives were tracked to find out what they really are, not vague fantasies and misunderstandings about them.

A detective's day begins on the road.

Detective Jang Jae-woong looked for an address to find someone.

The place he arrived is no other than a motel.

In response, Detective Jang Jae-woong said, "This is a case where the representative of the company that received the goods from a small and medium-sized business intentionally went bankrupt and deliberately avoided the payment of the goods. Even though he received a payment order, the defendant's representative had no property in front of him and was in good condition. It was difficult to say that he was staying for a long time at the motel, but now he has confirmed that it is a lie.”

Currently, he was on a mission to make sure there was no property hidden by the debtor.

The detective, who doesn't hesitate to hide, caught the accused living in an apartment where the accused was alive, driving a foreign car and enjoying golf and other entertainment.

And because these hidden assets could not be checked once, it was necessary to check them repeatedly.

Accordingly, the detective ended up hunger with snacks and hid for a long time, confirming the debtor's hidden property.

The representative of the steel company, the victim, said, "If it is more than 500 million, you are bound by the Special Price Act. You know that, and you are only scamming up to 490 million. Anyway, you said you would pay it back, but it disappeared the day after taking the goods. How is this not a scam?" He revealed why he had no choice but to find a detective.

Detective Jang Jae-woong, who is active as a corporate detective, explained, "As a result of Corona 19, cases related to intentional bankruptcy and intentional bankruptcy are increasing."

Bankruptcy savings banks were found to have a substantial amount of hidden assets abroad, so they hired an overseas detective.

Therefore, for four years from 2015, it has found 36.9 billion won of hidden foreign assets, of which 15.1 billion won was recovered.

And this was an achievement of 1.2 billion won in the commission fee for the detective case.

It was also a detective who found the foreign concealed property of Chairman Yoo Byung-eon of the Sewol ferry.

American detective Kang Hyo-heun revealed his license and badge.

"I don't often investigate publicly with my identity," he explained, saying, "we do a badge garage investigation if we need to disclose it."

He also revealed about the case he was in charge of, saying, "I came to take charge of the economic case in Korea and returned to Korea to find a debtor who had fled for nine months. The first case between South Korea and the US was repatriated.

Detective Cho Kwang-shin received an emergency request for assistance from China.

It is said that industrial spies enter the country by plane.

In response to a request for assistance with only one photo sent three hours before entering the country, the detective confessed the difficulty of tracking, saying, "We cannot afford to establish an investigation plan and we have to identify the target person on site."

There are over 300 industrial spies arrested by the police a year, such as technology leaks, design leaks, trademark theft, etc. In order to find them, there are many cases where companies ask for a covert investigation.

The detective didn't just have corporate cases.

The client who visited the detective on this day recommended that her lover, who has developed into a lover, who has developed into a relationship with a student and developed into a lover, wants to use it for good, and recommends that he transfer the donation monthly, over-consume with his credit card, and also lease and massage a foreign car in his name. He said he even asked for a chair rental.

And he said, "Recently, I paid the 30 million won that I borrowed as a deposit and never allowed me to come to the house I entered, but I wonder if I am using my money well."

In particular, the client drew attention by revealing that he did not want to believe that his lover is cheating on him.

Accordingly, the detective first shared the situation with the client's parents in order to reduce the damage to the client, who is a newcomer in society.

The detective said, "I'm a daughter who was raised by gold, jade, and I was embarrassed and angry about being subjected to this kind of thing. But the priority is to reduce the damage to the client."

Then, with the client's permission, the detective searched the lover's officetel, found the leased vehicle there, immediately retrieved it, and even received a promise to share the money through the client's parents.

In this case, the detective said, "I don't know if this is a scam. It's hard to see it as a crime. It wasn't forcibly taking money, and there were few elements for the police to intervene." Explained the situation.

Detective Kim Bong-ju received a request to detect a location tracker.

A detective who immediately found the client and found a location tracker and voice recorder in the vehicle.

Since it is not a police officer, it is a matter of the client to decide whether to report it, and the detective only helped to take pictures and remove evidence to collect evidence.

Then, what can and can't do as a detective?

Currently, in Korea, detectives can find runaway youth, but runaway adults cannot find stolen and lost assets, but it was an ambiguous situation in which it was illegal to find a hiding place for the debtor.

Nevertheless, many clients have asked detectives to find people.

Detective Kim Bong-ju recently found an old man with dementia.

The client, who asked to find his wife, mentioned to the detective some pictures of his wife's memories and the places he was guessing, and the detective found the missing person in his father's oxygen.

The detective recalled the time, saying, "I was crying when I saw my grandmother. I felt relieved when I saw my face, but I was really bad because the place I found was my father's oxygen."

And the client said, "That's why you are a detective," and thanked the detective for finding his wife again and again.

On this day, another client came to the detective asking for a mother who broke up as a child.

The client was abandoned due to difficult circumstances, but as he got older, his longing for his parents grew, and as he pursued his parents, he confirmed that his father had already died.

The death was not confirmed, and even a mother wanted to find it.

However, the only clue he gave to the detective was a black and white photo of his mother's youthful days, her mother's birthplace address, and her final address.

Accordingly, the detective and the client pursued a search based on the address.

But I couldn't easily find a clue.

The detective said, "I always do not know when it will come out, and I start first. Because one clue calls the next, I keep looking for it," he said, and revealed the reason why the tracking could not be stopped even with a small clue.

A Korean detective who has just reached the right start.

As a result, a curriculum for training detectives was created.

However, the concept of detectives and related legal systems have not yet been established, which has caused difficulties.

Experts said, "The term detective itself does not just dig up personal background investigations. The police force cannot meet the needs of each individual. As it is focused on violent incidents, it will become a professional that can help other people in need. It could be."

In addition, he stressed that "if you are a detective, it is the same as walking on a prison fence from the standpoint of our country. This is an area that has a boundary between legal and illegal, because there are no regulations," he stressed that related laws and systems should be created as soon as possible.

In particular, "As soon as Japan has a report system, it is necessary to create a standard that can be managed and supervised by the state. Currently, even ineligible detectives can act. It can protect consumers and users as it may cause damage to the people or businesses. It seems urgent to enact a bill that is there.”

What about America with a detective license?

American detective Kang Hyo-heun said that the first condition for an American detective was the correct moral character.

"The law does not require reasoning, intuition, or anything like that. If a detective is punished, it is morally punished," he explained.

Accordingly, the broadcast hoped that the excellent detective, who has both morality and ability, will soon establish itself as another helper in our lives.
