A twenties detonating explosives near the house of a woman who was following a unilateral favor was arrested.
The Jeonju Deokjin Police Department in Jeonbuk, North Jeolla Province, announced today (16) that A (27) was arrested for the use of explosives, damage to special property, and invasion of housing.
Mr. A is accused of exploding a prepared explosive on the stairs of an apartment in Deokjin-gu, Jeonju, around 8 pm on the 17th of last month.
He ignited the explosive while holding it in his hand, causing a major injury to his left hand, potentially permanent damage.
No other casualties have occurred.
As a result of the investigation, it was revealed that A alone acquired the technology of manufacturing explosives through YouTube videos and social network services (SNS).
It was investigated that Mr. A sent a text message to the victim on the 16th of last month, the day before the crime, saying, "If you don't meet me, you will die."
Previously, he visited the victim's family several times and asked for permission to associate, but when he was rejected, it turned out that he committed the crime with resentment.
A police official said, "There was no person injured other than the suspect, but we are investigating the detention considering the seriousness of the crime using explosives."
