Fine dust is on the rise.

Currently, the concentration of ultrafine dust in the central, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk regions including Seoul and Gyeonggi is 50 to 60 micrograms per cubic meter.

It is more than twice as much dust as the annual average, and it has been in a state of'bad' fine dust for 5 days until today (16th).

In particular, superfine dust warnings have been issued in parts of Seoul, the central north of Gyeonggi, northern Chungnam and parts of Jeonbuk.

It has been about 9 months since last February that an ultrafine dust advisory was issued in Seoul.

Today, even fine dust from China comes in.

The Ministry of Environment predicted that as fine dust accumulates at home and abroad today, the concentration of fine dust in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Central and Jeonbuk, Daegu and Gyeongbuk will be'bad', and Gwangju, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam will temporarily show'bad' levels in the afternoon.

Emergency measures to reduce high-concentration fine dust are being implemented throughout Chungnam for the second day.

The Ministry of Environment predicted that by tomorrow morning, high-density fine dust will continue in the western regions, and from tomorrow, it will rain all over the place and the air will spread smoothly and fine dust will also be withdrawn.
