Instagram will change its appearance.

After a successful testing phase, the social network decided to display the Reels and Shop buttons on the home page, reports Presse-Citron.

At the bottom of the home screen, the Reels tab can be accessed via the old shortcut for posting content.

As for the Shop tab, it takes the place of the activities tab.

The arrival of the Reels button will allow faster access to short videos (15 seconds maximum) broadcast by the creators.

It's been some time since the social network decided to put this part forward.

This allows it to compete with TikTok, whose strength is the sharing of video content.

Make the products for sale more visible

With the Shop button, the American network will highlight the products for sale on the various publications which are linked to the interests of users.

For Instagram, this is about facilitating the relationship between network users and brands and influencers.

Disappeared tabs are now placed in the menu at the top right of the news feed.
