Last month we first reported that a company related to Optimus paid for the rent of a multifunction device installed in the Democratic Party's representative Lee Nak-yeon's regional office.

Prosecutors have discovered that Optimus has provided support for not only multi-function devices, but also furniture and office supplies worth 10 million won.

Representative Lee explained that it was "unfounded."

prosecution has recently obtained a statement and physical evidence from the relevant party that Optimus provided additional support in addition to the rental fee for multi-function devices in the office of Representative Lee Nak-yeon.



Optimus lobbyist Kim Mo, who was arrested on the 6th, was reported to have made a statement in a recent prosecution investigation with the purpose of'providing 10 million won worth of furniture and fixtures to Lee's district office.'



Mr. Kim explains that he provided this in accordance with the instructions of big lobbyist Shin Mo, who was requested by Optimus CEO Kim Jae-hyun.



It is known that the purchase cost was provided by Optimus, and the prosecution is said to have secured relevant evidence.



Lobbyist Kim was identified as the person who provided the multifunction device to Lee Nak-yeon's office in February.



Before being arrested, Mr. Kim said in a phone call with SBS that "the representative from the representative side urgently requested the provision of a multifunction device and helped."



The prosecution is known to have called the lobbyist Shin again to see if he gave instructions to Kim.



Regarding this, representative Lee Nak-yeon said in a call with SBS that the suspicion was "unfounded."



Representative Lee explained, "After SBS's report on the payment of multi-function devices last month, we conducted a full investigation of the district offices and confirmed that there was no additional support."
