The Suwon District Prosecutor's Office said it had prosecuted A, a former teacher who was detained on charges of assault and lethality on the 28th of last month.
Mr. A was handed over to trial on charges of assaulting Mr. B and killing him after having a drink with two friends including Mr. B, at a restaurant in Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 18th of last month.
It was investigated that these were between friends, arguing over their usual drinking habits, and even a struggle.
It is said that Mr. A pushed Mr. B down and beat him several times with his fists.
Mr. B was taken to the hospital, but he died during treatment.
A was a fixed-term teacher at a middle school in Seoul, and it is known that he was close enough to attend the society at Mr. B's wedding in the past.
At the time of the investigation, it was reported that Mr. A stated that "I am drunk and cannot remember."
