According to the data obtained by SBS through the person concerned in the case, former Gwangju MBC president Lee Kang-se was under a second investigation while being arrested by the prosecution in June.

Former president Lee is known as the person who connected Kim Bong-hyun to the political world.

Lee said in the prosecution's investigation that he saw Kim Bong-hyun handing tens of millions of won to the Democratic Party's lawmaker Dong-min Lee in 2016.

That is, Kim handed money and gifts in person while he and Congressman Ki were together.

He said he would state specific details such as when and where.

In addition, former president Lee said that he had heard that another criminal passport figure, Mr. A, had borrowed money from Kim Bong-hyun.

However, he said he did not know the specific amount because he did not see it in person.

It was confirmed that both Rep. Ki and Mr. A were recently investigated by the prosecution as suspects.

Last month, Mr. Bong-Hyun Kim admitted to meeting Congressman Ki in his second prison letter, but denied that he had never lobbied with money directly related to Lime.

In response, Congressman Ki had met former President Kang-se Lee with Bong-Hyeon Kim before he was elected as a member of the National Assembly in 2016, but denied that allegations of accepting money and other items other than receiving a suit are nonsense.

Mr. A, a person from a criminal passport, tried to contact him, but he could not hear the admission.

The prosecution confiscated the home and office of Attorney B, formerly prosecutor B, who was designated as a leading opposition politician, and the Woori Financial Group to confirm the suspicion of receiving hundreds of millions of won along with the request to resume the sale of the Lime Fund.
