It was a witness to the retrial trial of Yoon Seong-yeo, who served 20 years after being accused of being the criminal of the 8th case.

Lee Chun-jae, who confessed about 14 murders and more than 30 sexual assaults since he was first identified as a suspect in September of last year, confessed in today's court that he committed the crime like a moth looking for fire.

Hwaseong serial killer Lee Chun-jae appeared in the Suwon District Court.

It has been 34 years after the crime, and 1 year and 2 months after the identity was identified in a re-investigation.

Lee Chun-jae, who has white hair in several places in a green suit, continued to testify calmly with a rather hoarse voice.

When asked by the attorney, "Is the serial murder case true?" he answered with a clear voice, "Yes, that's right."

In September of last year, when the police heard that they had come to the prison for investigation, they thought "there is coming," and said that they opened their hearts to criminal psychoanalysts and confessed to the crime.

Lee Chun-jae continued to speak irresponsibly about the motives of the crime while detailing his crime scene 30 years ago in court.

He stated that he committed impulsively, saying, "If we encountered him without any special reason, he committed a crime" and "I had no idea before the crime."

When I looked back at myself, he said, "I was committing a crime regardless of will, like a fire moth looking for fire."

He apologized to the victims, including Yoon Seong-yeo, who had served unfairly because of himself, and said in his confession, "I hope that the victim and his family will find peace of mind."

14 victims were killed by Lee Chun-jae and 34 victims were raped.

Although the victims and their families have been living in pain for over 30 years, there is no way to punish Lee Chun-jae after the statute of limitations has ended.
