An extension to recover the old version of Facebook -

The famous social network continues its worldwide progression.

As of September 30, Facebook had 2.74 billion monthly active users and no less than 1.82 billion daily active users.

Important figures, up 12% compared to last year.

However, the social network no longer seems to appeal to Americans as much.

Facebook has indeed recorded a drop of 2 million daily users in the United States and Canada in the third quarter of 2020. A significant drop for the social network since these two markets are among the most profitable for Facebook.

Mark Zuckerberg's company wants to be reassuring all the same since it justifies this drop of 2 million daily connections in the third quarter by the fact that the platform broke records in the second quarter of 2020 due to the coronavirus health crisis.

Despite everything, according to the predictions of the social network, the number of daily active users should continue to decline during the fourth quarter of 2020. In Europe, the figures are more stable with 305 million active users per day.

Increasing income

However, Facebook still garnered $ 21.47 billion in 2020, an increase of 22% compared to 2019, including 7.84 billion in net profits.

The boycott campaign launched by several advertisers therefore had only a limited impact on Facebook's net income.

Mark Zuckerberg's company still remains worried about Apple's new iPhone policy.

With iOS 14, applications must now have permission from their users to track them outside of their app for advertising tracking purposes and this Apple policy could have an impact on the revenues of the American firm.
