Former President Lee Myung-bak, whose sentence was confirmed in the Supreme Court, is again imprisoned in the Eastern Detention Center in Seoul.

Then, let’s connect a reporter in front of the former president's house in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul.

Reporter Kim Sang-min, there were quite a few people in front of the house in the afternoon before, but how is it now?

<Reporter>

Yes, former President Lee, who is about to be imprisoned again tomorrow (30th), is staying in his home in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul, where I am now.

After the Supreme Court decision, there were observations that the former President Lee could move directly to the detention center, and from early in the morning there were a lot of reporters gathered in this narrow alley.

Now, as the prosecution, who accepted Lee's request for postponement, was told that he would execute the sentence on Monday next week, many of the reporters were pulled out.

Immediately after the Supreme Court's sentence, former Minister Lee Jae-oh and former chief Ryu Woo-ik, who were usually classified as close associates of the former president, also visited their homes.

So, are you staying at home for the weekend until you're jailed again next Monday?

<Reporter>

Yes, for the first time, former President Lee is expected to finish the hospital examination schedule scheduled for tomorrow and prepare for reincarceration over the weekend.

The disabled defendant must appear at the prosecutor's office the day after the sentence is confirmed, and if there are unavoidable circumstances, the defendant is required to appear on a different date.

However, the prosecution is also considering a plan to transfer former President Lee from his home in Nonhyeon-dong to the Eastern Detention Center in Seoul, taking into account security issues, etc.

Previously, the former President Lee criticized the Supreme Court decision in primary color and said that he would reveal the truth through all means.

It did not explain specifically how to respond.

On the day of detention, there is also a growing interest in whether the former President Lee will issue a separate statement through his attorney as it is today or whether he will directly disclose his position through training.
