The first criminal division of the Chuncheon Court of the Seoul High Court (Judge Park Jae-woo) sentenced A (39, female), who was charged with violating the Special Cases Act on the punishment of child abuse crimes, and sentenced him to one year and two months in prison and three years of probation. Mr. A was handed over to trial on charges of physical or emotional abuse to four 1-year-old infants from May to June last year while working as a child care teacher at a daycare center in Hongcheon-gun.
