On the 29th, Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol visited the Daejeon High Prosecutors' Office and the District Prosecutor's Office and said, "I came to see how the prosecution's family works and listen to difficulties."

On that day, at 3:29 pm, General Yoon arrived at the lobby entrance on the 1st floor of the Seo-gu Prosecutors' Office in Daejeon and greeted him with a handshake with Gang Nam-il, Daejeon High Prosecutor's Office and Lee Du-bong, Daejeon District Prosecutor's Office.

Before entering the government building, he said, "(Daejeon) is where I worked in the past," and said, "As the general manager, I will see how the Daejeon prosecutors' family works and listen to difficulties and pat on the back."

To the question of the reporter's question about the initiation of the investigation and command of the Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae and the order of the inspection, he went straight into the building without giving any answers.

General Yoon will move to the Daejeon Court Complex next door, prevent Kim Gwang-tae, the chief of the Daejeon High Court, and then return to the Prosecutors' Office to hold a private meeting with employees on the subject of prosecution reform.

Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol visited Daejeon in 3 years and 5 months after being appointed as the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office in May 2017.

Yoon, who was a prosecutor at the Daejeon High Prosecutor's Office at the time, was promoted to Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office with the Blue House evaluation as "the right person to smoothly carry out the additional investigation of Choi Soon-sil gate and the prosecution of related cases."

After taking office as the prosecutor general in July last year, he resumed the local schedule that was temporarily suspended to prevent the spread of Corona 19 after visiting Busan and Gwangju in February.

The president's visit to the area is common, but the recent conflict with the Ministry of Justice and the remarks of ‘serving the people after retirement’ in the National Assembly's audit of state affairs attracted unusual interest.

Unlike when I visited Busan or Gwangju, there weren't any special meetings held around the prosecutors' office on this day.
