Great news for fans of live on Instagram.

The social network announced on Tuesday the extension of the duration of the broadcast of live videos, reports

Users of the application will now be able to perform up to four hours of live.

The duration was limited to one hour until now.

In a tweet, Instagram also warned of another novelty.

Videos broadcast live can now be saved for thirty days.

They will then be automatically deleted from the platform.

This thirty-day period may in particular allow users to save and share their content on other social networks.

In its message, Instagram finally mentions the creation of a new section called "Live Now

".

This will be integrated in the Explorer tab of the network, but also on IGTV.

This feature will allow followers of the application to discover new direct.
