The city of Seoul has decided to have a dedicated public official reside in a business where young people gather, such as clubs and sensuous bars, ahead of Halloween.

In order to prevent the spread of Corona 19, we are continuing to discuss with the industry on a plan to close all this weekend.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced today that it will appoint two responsible officials per business at 108 clubs and emotional bars for three days starting tomorrow (29th) to check compliance with the quarantine regulations.

In a briefing, Seoul's quarantine control officer Park Yoomi explained that "the role of dedicated public officials is to cooperate with the police or related organizations in the field."

In particular, we decided to have public officials reside at the business from 0 o'clock to 3 o'clock in the morning, where the number of customers is the most.

In the event of violating the quarantine rules, the'One Strike Out' system is also implemented, in which a group prohibition order is issued for two weeks from 0 o'clock the next day.

A quarantine checkpoint, which was established to manage assemblies and demonstrations in downtown Seoul at the time of the opening day and Hangeul, will also be prepared in Itaewon.

It is to install a quarantine gate in an alley near the Hamilton Hotel where clubs are concentrated to record visitors with a QR code, while measuring body temperature to filter out the risk factors for Corona 19.

The city of Seoul also persuaded business owners to see that it is the most reliable quarantine countermeasure to temporarily close clubs, etc., which may be crowded during Halloween.

Park said, "There is no place that clearly said it would not be open, but there are quite a few businesses that are willing to do business," said Park.

Seoul, who suffered measles due to a group infection from the Itaewon club in May, tried to arouse fear that Corona 19 could spread again during Halloween.

During the briefing, the Seoul Metropolitan Government produced posters with phrases such as'I can become a real ghost while enjoying Halloween' and'I know what you'll do on October 31st' and put them on both sides of Park.
