In a daycare center in Incheon, a 5-year-old boy who was injured after bumping into a friend was reported dead after two days of hospitalization, and the police investigated.
According to the Incheon Yeonsu Police Station, the parents of Army A(5) reported to 112 that their son, who was being treated at a hospital in Incheon, died at around 10 am on the 23rd.
It was also confirmed that the parents of Group A requested the police the day before the report, saying, "My child was injured at the daycare center and want to check the closed circuit (CC) TV video."
As a result of the investigation, it was found that Group A fell down after colliding with another friend while playing at the playground of a daycare center in Yeonsu-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon at around 11:30 am on the 21st.
Police secured CCTV footage of two children running looking at different places and bumping into each other without looking ahead.
In this accident, Group A was seriously injured in the head, and was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment, but died after two days.
It is reported that group A complained of dizziness while taking a break for about an hour at the daycare center immediately after the accident, and his parents took him directly to the hospital.
The police will request an autopsy of the body from the National Institute for Scientific Investigation to determine the exact cause of the death and investigate the accidents of daycare officials.
A police official said, "When Army A falls, it seems that there was a shock when hitting his head on the floor."
