On the 20th, 50-year-old A, a courier worker, who left a note outlining financial difficulties and injustices in the company, complained to his acquaintances four days before his death.

'I didn't complain, but I got angry and blamed myself in my reality, and it was piled up with unknown anger.'

In this article, Mr. A complained that economic pressure continued while working for the courier, which means that he incurred tens of thousands of won more per day as compensation for loss or damage.

Mr. A also wrote that 80 phone calls, 40 texts, and 400 photographs were taken to find the lost item.

Mr. A complained, "I don't know what this is doing," and complained that it was a system that earns 1,000 won and compensates 300,000 won if loss or damage occurs.

At the same time, he lamented,'I couldn't see the future in the situation where I got up at 6 and delivered from 7 to 9 at night.'

It is known that Mr. A has even caused a conflict with the branch manager over issues related to lost property.

In fact, courier workers are obligated to compensate for any loss or damage to the package during work.

However, it is the position that the courier is following the rules that determine the degree of compensation based on the fault.

On the 24th, Kim In-bong, Secretary General of the National Courier Union said, "There are regulations, but the management is trying to hand over the responsibility to the courier somehow."

According to the union, a courier worker working at the same branch as Mr. A recently lost an item and compensated 2.7 million won in compensation.

Suejin A said,'Because I bought a truck because my creditworthiness fell, the loan I received at a low interest changed to a loan, and I paid principal and interest. He also wrote that the situation has become insufficient.'

He said,'As time goes by, I have a nightmare of overdue and bad credit, and I didn't know what to do.'I think I have to make a decision within 25 days.'

A police official who is investigating the case said, "I found that Mr. A has often complained of financial difficulties."

The police are investigating the facts of the will left by Mr. A, how it resulted in death, and whether or not the person concerned in the case has illegal activities.

In 2020 alone, 11 courier drivers, including Mr. A, lost their lives, and 10 of them are estimated to be overworked.
