Two tents were installed at the Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul today (23rd) under the name of former President Park Chung-hee's incense burner.

Our Republican Party today announced, "We have built an incense center to commemorate the 41st anniversary of the death of President Park Jung-hee, the hero of the rescue," at around 0:30 am.

A Seoul Metropolitan Government official said, "Due to the COVID-19 quarantine problem, Gwanghwamun Plaza has not been approved for use from February," and said, "We will make a notice regarding the removal of tents during today."

Seoul also demolished the late General Paik Seon-yup incense center, which had been installed for 70 days from July this year.

The city decided to charge the organizer for compensation for illegal occupancy and administrative execution fees.
