The number of new corona19 confirmed cases hit three digits for two consecutive days.
155 new confirmed cases were added per day yesterday (22nd), and the cumulative number of confirmed cases reached 25,698.
Among the new confirmed cases, 138 cases occurred in Korea and 17 cases inflow from overseas were tentatively counted.
By region, 121 people were confirmed in the metropolitan area, including 19 in Seoul, 98 in Gyeonggi, and 4 in Incheon.
In the non-capital region, there were 5 confirmed cases in Daegu, 4 in each of Chungnam and Gwangju, 2 in each of Jeonjuk, and 1 each in Jeonnam and Gangwon.
The number of deaths increased by 2 a day yesterday, so 455 people have died while undergoing COVID-19 treatment.
