Rospotrebnadzor examined food for the presence of coronavirus

“Rospotrebnadzor continues to monitor environmental objects for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

There were no positive findings of a new coronavirus infection in food, ”TASS reports.

It is noted that samples of coronavirus were found only in 170 washes out of more than 135 thousand investigated from surfaces in medical organizations, at trade and transport facilities. 

Earlier, Alexander Butenko, head of the department of the Gamaleya Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, told the Moscow 24 website how to protect yourself from COVID-19 on various surfaces.
