The first trial ruling that came out at the end of last year was recognized for the fact that the ward office opened the playground before the safety inspection, but the main reason was that it was judged'conformity' in the safety inspection conducted immediately after the accident.

However, as a result of the SBS interview, it was revealed that there was a first prosecutor in which some failures were determined before the safety test submitted to the court as evidence, and that it was not submitted to the court.

The appeals court ruled that the failure of the Seocho-gu Office to submit the results of the first examination violated its duty to cooperate faithfully with the public's request for evidence in the national compensation proceedings, and ordered the child's parents to compensate 80 million won.

Seocho-gu Office claimed that "the first inspection was not submitted because it was not directly related to the accident," but the court saw that the credibility was low.

The court also pointed out that the child's parents applied for on-site inspection of the playground, but the ward office did not notify the court and replaced the playground flooring material, which is important evidence, depriving the plaintiff from the opportunity to prove it.

[Ha Jung-rim/Attorney (parent): (Gu office) abused the management of the main evidence, the playground, making it more difficult to prove, and the court acknowledged the illegality of the act.]

Parents have some responsibility of the ward office

It is a reaction that I am glad to be admitted.

[The late Sung-Hoon Song's father: Please do not let this unfortunate accident recur in the children's playground for other children again...

Seocho-gu mayor Cho Eun-hee said, "I always felt sorry for the accident," and said, "I will give up the appeal by accepting the results of the trial."
