A memorial message continues as it is known that a policeman who was diagnosed with brain death after being hit by a drunk driving car two months ago passed away after donating an organ.
She was a mother police officer with a hard-earned young daughter, and reporter Han Sang-woo tells the story.

late Sergeant Hong Seong-suk passed away in August leaving behind her daughter, Yu Jin-i, who had a hard time getting married after 14 years.
Sergeant Hong's car on his way home was hit by a drunk driving vehicle, and he suffered brain death, and the family decided to donate an organ when medical staff said that life-sustaining treatment was meaningless.
