Today (20th), the concentration of fine dust in the metropolitan area, Chungcheong, and Jeollabuk-do is appearing at a level of'bad'.

The Integrated Air Quality Forecasting Center of the National Institute of Environmental Sciences today predicted the concentration of fine dust in the metropolitan area, Sejong, Chungbuk, Chungnam, and Jeonbuk as'bad'.

The concentration of fine dust in Daejeon and Daegu is expected to temporarily show'bad' levels in the afternoon, and most other areas are expected to appear from'good' to'normal'.

The first ultrafine dust advisory was issued in the Chungnam region this fall.

The highest level of ultrafine dust concentration in Seoul is 101㎍/㎥, and it has been 110 days since July 2 that'bad' was recorded in Seoul standards.

Yesterday, fine dust accumulated in the Midwest and some southern regions remained as atmospheric stagnation, and additional smog from China in the morning was analyzed as the cause of air quality today.

The fine dust in the metropolitan area is expected to continue until the morning of tomorrow and gradually disappear in the afternoon.
