city of Incheon and the City Office of Education provided an educational disaster subsidy of 100,000 won per student last month.
It is said that parents are forced to spend the budget on buying food materials, as they could not properly feed due to the coronavirus.
Reporter Jeong Ban-seok covered it.
Mr. Lee, a parent of an elementary school student in Incheon, who received 100,000 won in educational disaster support from Incheon city last month.
I bought a fruit package worth 50,000 won after being explained that 50,000 won can only be used in an app called Incheon eum package mall provided by a food service provider.
But seeing the delivered fruit, Mr. Lee was disappointed.
[My aunt/Incheon elementary school student parent: I just opened the box, but when I saw it, I spread it white and put it all together.
How do children eat this.
This is all rotten right now.]
I posted a request for a refund right away, but there was no answer for the second day.
[Mr. Aunt/Parent of elementary school student in Incheon: I had two or three calls, but I didn't answer the phone. If you look at product inquiries, they are all refund requests.] I
directly compared the price of a fruit box with the same configuration at a nearby mart.
Even considering that prices may vary depending on the distribution period, the fruits bought at the mart are large and fresh, but the combined price is cheaper.
When parents complained that they were expensive and had no items to buy, Incheon City explained that it was difficult for suppliers to meet the price because they had no online sales experience.
In addition, 27% of the 159 products were more than 10,000 won more expensive than the lowest online price, but 43% of the cheaper items were also revealed.
[Incheon City official: Please help me because the food service providers are in crisis of death. The city council asked whether it should be done in a direction that could help.]
To achieve the effect of the policy to share the pain caused by Corona 19, careful management is necessary to increase the satisfaction of both suppliers and citizens.
