It was found that an average of 400 cases were caught living in public rental housing in Seoul in violation of qualification standards such as income and vehicle price.

According to data submitted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government by Jo Oh-seop and Democratic Party member of the National Assembly, the National Land Transportation Committee, the number of ineligible occupants for public rental housing in the last five years was 1,896.

More than half of the cases were caught owning a home, with 1,108 cases.

The rest were ▲ 551 cases exceeding income standard ▲ 118 cases exceeding real estate ▲ 68 cases exceeding vehicle price ▲ 51 cases of illegal submissions.

Public rental housing is a housing that is supplied to the vulnerable class at a monthly rent of 100,000 to 300,000 won.

For this reason, each type has an upper limit on income and vehicle price.

Assemblyman Cho said, "One tenant living in Happy Housing owned a Maserati Ghibli with a vehicle price of 99.4 million won, and another tenant living in the National Rental Housing owned a Mercedes E300 with 53.52 million won and was evicted for exceeding the standard." And ordered a thorough inspection.
