After approaching a woman in her twenties to connect her with a sponsor, a man who threatened to have sex while pretending to be a sponsor and disseminating illegal footage was handed over to the prosecution.
Seoul's Gangnam Police Department said that the man in his twenties was sent to the prosecution at the end of last month on charges of fraud and intimidation.
According to the police, Mr. A approached the victim on social media earlier this year saying that he is a'sponsor broker'.
Afterwards, Mr. A pretended to be a sponsor, had sex, and stopped contacting him saying'we had a problem'.
About last April, I approached the victim again with a different account, and when the victim did not respond, I threatened to distribute video footage of sexual intercourse.
Mr. A was arrested by the police last month on the report of the unbearable victim.
The prosecution is known to be investigating Mr. A's female crime.
