It was belatedly discovered that a policeman who fell on the road while being dragged by a vehicle that was running away while refusing to take a drink test fell into unconsciousness.

According to the police, at 0:46 am on June 19, Inspector A (55) of Sajik District University in Busan Dongnae Police Station found a suspected vehicle driving under the influence of alcohol on a road in Dongnae-gu and attempted a drinking test on the driver.

Inspector A was dragged about 1km, hanging from the door of a vehicle driven by a driver who did not comply with the breathalyzer.

Inspector A jumped off the gap when the vehicle was slowing down, but in the process, he hit his head hard against the asphalt road.

A drunk driver whose driver's license was canceled was arrested after hitting a nearby overpass pier.

Inspector A received a medical examination at the hospital, but when he was told that there was nothing wrong, he returned to work after a week, but suffered from headache and dizziness.

Finally, on the 9th of last month, he collapsed and his condition worsened, so he had brain surgery, but his consciousness has not returned until now.

The police, who encountered Inspector A's unfortunate story, are launching a fundraising campaign.

Inspector A has a wife and two sons.

With this incident, public opinion in the police that the crime of obstructing the execution of public affairs should be severely punished is also heating up.

A driver who flees with a police officer is currently being investigated by the police for violating the Act on Aggravated Punishment for Specific Crimes (Yun Chang-Ho Act) and obstructing the execution of special public affairs.
