revelation of former Chairman Kim Bong-Hyun, a key figure in the Lime incident, in prison, brought back the clashes between Attorney General Chu Miae and Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, which had been silent for a while.

First, the Ministry of Justice stated that former Chairman Kim was lobbying for opposition parties with incumbent prosecutors, but said that it seemed that he had not properly commanded the investigation even after receiving the report.

Ministry of Justice conducted an intense surveillance investigation against former Star Mobility Chairman Kim Bong-hyun, who exposed the suspicion of incumbent prosecutors and opposition lobbying for three days from the 16th, and announced the interim results yesterday (18th).

First, the Ministry of Justice stated to the prosecution that former Chairman Kim provided entertainment and money to prosecutors and investigators, and lobbied opposition politicians who were former prosecutors for a billion dollars, but the investigation was not conducted properly.

In particular, Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol stressed that there was a suspicion that he did not conduct the investigation thoroughly after receiving reports of specific details on the opposition and prosecutors' misconduct, even though he was directly involved in the selection of prosecutors for the investigation of the Lyme case and proclaimed thorough investigation several times.

An official from the Ministry of Justice said that he knew that during the inspection process, not only the statements of former Chairman Kim, but also the circumstances in which Yoon had already been reported on related information was captured.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Justice said that it is reviewing the subject and method of the investigation separately from the ongoing prosecution.

It means that we will create a new investigation team that is not under the command of the prosecutor general, rather than the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor's Office investigating the current Lime case.

In the end, there are observations that Justice Minister Chu Mi-ae is trying to exercise command of the investigation, seeing Yun as the peak of suspicion of ignoring the investigation.
