Today (the 13th), when the national flu vaccine free vaccination business started again, a long line continued in various hospitals in the neighborhood, and a shortage of vaccines occurred.

At the Korea Health Management Association in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, visitors flocked to get vaccinations from the morning, and the line that started on the 5th floor of the building descended to the basement and then continued outside the building.

As people trying to get the vaccine, there was a shortage of vaccines.

Some hospitals that have been selected as free flu vaccination agencies have not been supplied with vaccines smoothly, and there have been instances where citizens are turning their steps.

A frontline hospital official said, "As more and more cases of free vaccinations are given to paid vaccinations due to lack of vaccines, there is a vicious circle of lack of vaccines for paid vaccinations to patients with chronic diseases."

The free vaccinations resumed from today are teenagers aged 13-18.

The vaccine can be given to seniors aged 70 or older from the 19th and from 62 to 69 from the 26th.

Free vaccination is available at public health centers and designated medical institutions nationwide. Designated medical institutions can be found on the vaccination assistant website (http://nip.cdc.go.kr) and the vaccination assistant smartphone app.
