Yesterday (9th) around 4pm, a fire broke out on the 4th floor of a 5-story apartment in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.



The fire was extinguished in an hour and a half by a firefighter who was dispatched after receiving a report from the residents saying “a fire broke out with a loud explosion,” but a man in his 70s who lived in the house where the fire started was killed.



Fire officials are investigating the exact cause of the fire, seeing it as a fire in the home.

Red flames are rising.



At around 10:50 last night, a fire broke out in a single-family house in Gimje, Jeollabuk-do.



The fire went out in two hours, and three members of the family were evacuated, but no one was injured.
