Chun Doo-hwan, who was handed over to trial for defamation of a lion, the prosecution sought a sentence of one year and six months, a little less than two years in prison, the highest sentence in the court.

The prosecution said, "Jeon, who violated the constitutional order, hurt people who remember the pain of history again in the name of freedom of expression."

Chun Doo-hwan said in his autobiography in April 2017 that he was unscrupulous about the late Father Jobio, who testified of helicopter shooting. Described as a liar.

He also denied shooting by helicopter at the time of May 18th.

Jeon was prosecuted in May 2018, one year after the book was released, and only after the court issued a job offer before attending the Gwangju court.

Even when I was in court, I did not admit to helicopter shooting.

The sentence of first trial against Mr. Jeon is scheduled to be held at the Gwangju District Court on the 30th of next month.

Under the Criminal Procedure Act, the defendant is obligated to attend the sentence at the trial, so when the first trial is sentenced, Mr. Jeon must again stand in the Gwangju court.
