It is known that the prosecution recently investigated a former chief prosecutor who was accused of habitually abusing the late prosecutor Kim Hong-young.

Earlier last week, the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office, the first criminal division, investigated former chief prosecutor Kim Dae-hyun (27th Judicial Research and Training Institute) as the accused.

It has been 10 months since the Korean Bar Association accused former chief prosecutor Kim at the end of November last year.

Prosecutor Kim died at the age of thirty-three, leaving a suicide note in May 2016 complaining of work stress and job pressure while working in the criminal division of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office.

In the subsequent investigation on the truth of the prosecutor's office, it was revealed that former chief prosecutor Kim, who was Kim's superior, routinely abused and abused Kim for two years.

The Ministry of Justice dismissed former chief prosecutor Kim in August of that year.

In August of last year, former chief prosecutor Kim applied for a lawyer registration with the Korean Bar Association.

When there was no basis for refusing to register as a lawyer for former chief prosecutor Kim, who was dismissed without criminal punishment, the Korean Bar Association accused him of coercion, assault, and insults.

However, the prosecution's investigation was sluggish after the accuser's investigation in March, and the bereaved side applied for a convocation of the Prosecutors' Investigation Review Committee last month in order to urge the prosecution's investigation.

The Investigation Review Committee is scheduled to be held on the afternoon of the 16th.
