Of the 75 new corona19 confirmed cases added yesterday (2nd), 52 cases occurred in Korea.
By region, 40 people occurred in metropolitan areas such as Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon, and 12 people were confirmed in non-capital areas such as Busan, Gyeongbuk, Daejeon, and Chungnam.
The number of new confirmed cases increased to 113 on the 30th day of the Chuseok holiday, and remained at double digits for three consecutive days.
Due to the Chuseok holiday, the number of inspections itself decreased compared to weekdays.
Sporadic group infections continue in medical institutions such as hospitals and nursing facilities.
At Dana Hospital in Chang-dong, Dobong-gu, Seoul, a second test was conducted on inpatients and staff yesterday, and 11 additional people were tested positive.
Since the first confirmed cases came out on the 28th of last month, 46 confirmed cases have occurred in this hospital.
In addition, at least 4 people have been diagnosed with Chaoreum Nursing Home in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, and 12 people, including visitors and employees, have been confirmed at the Pyeonggang Clinic in Geumjeong-gu, Busan.
The number of people who died from Corona 19 increased by 4 yesterday, and 420 people have died so far.
