Today (3rd), the fourth day of the Chuseok holiday, traffic congestion is expected on major highways across the country at the end of the day.
The Korea Expressway Corporation announced today that it is expected that 4.05 million vehicles will use the highway in the country today, and it will show congestion at the level of the usual weekend.
The congestion in the direction of return starts at 8 a.m. and peaks at around 4 p.m. It is expected to resolve around midnight.
As of 6 am today, the time required from major cities to the Seoul Tollgate is 4 hours and 30 minutes in Busan, 4 hours in Gwangju, 3 hours in Daegu, 2 hours 40 minutes in Gangneung, and 1 hour 30 minutes in Daejeon.
