Yesterday, the number of new corona 19 confirmed patients was 113, a three-fold increase compared to 38 the previous day, increasing to three digits in five days.
Among them, 93 cases occurred in Korea and 20 cases inflow from overseas were tentatively counted.
By region, there were 51 confirmed cases in Seoul, 21 in Gyeonggi, and 4 in Incheon.
In the non-capital area, there were 5 people in Busan, 4 people in Gyeongbuk, 3 people in Gwangju, 2 people in Jeonbuk, and 1 person each in Daegu, Ulsan, and Chungnam.
Yesterday, as six people died while undergoing Corona 19 treatment, the cumulative death toll rose to 413.
With sporadic group infections steadily occurring across the country, an additional 28 people were confirmed at Dana Hospital, a psychiatric specialty hospital in Dobong-gu, Seoul, where two confirmed cases two days ago came out, and the quarantine authorities took measures to quarantine the entire hospital.
